I’ve recently ordered some new makeup from Colourpop Cosmetics, in this article I’ll show you what I’ve purchased and my thoughts about the products.
I’m sorry I haven’t been posting in a while, I was busy with my final exams of this year. Now that I’m finally on my summer break, I have enough time to start blogging again!
Colourpop is a well-known brand that’s all about good quality and affordability. You can get a lot of makeup items from only $5! They ship worldwide and when I ordered some stuff, I also had a coupon that made the shipping free. It did take very long for the package to arrive at my house though, it took about 1,5 month… The problem with ordering from a foreign country is also that when your order was above €45, you have to pay extra taxes in the Netherlands. That kind of sucks.
But let’s discuss the products!
The picture above is from swatches of two liquid lipsticks (Instigator and Speed Dial) and one satin liquid lipstick (Screenshot). De satin liquid lipstick feels very comfortable on the lips, it doesn’t dry down matte but it does transfer. The Ultra Matte liquid lipsticks dry down completely matte but do transfer a little and dry out your lips. I think there are other matte liquid lipsticks that are better.
The liquid lipsticks above were available in a value set, it was $15,00.
I also bought a lipstick and lip pencil in the shade Brink. It’s a matte lipstick, I’ve tried matte lipsticks from colour pop before and they’re very comfortable and even a little hydrating! With this shade, the lip pencil is slightly darker than the lipstick. The lip pencil and lipstick were both $5,00.
The next thing I bought is another lip pencil called 951 ($5,00). It’s one of the products that Colourpop made in collaboration with ILUVSARAHII. It’s a very nice mid-toned warm nude shade.
Next up are three Superchock eyeshadows ($5,00 a piece). I’ve also purchased this product before, the formula feels very nice and creamy. They are also very blendable.
The last items that I’ve purchased are two pencil eyeliners ($5,00 a piece). These are very pigmented and stay on my waterline for a very long time! I’ll definitely buy more of these when I can. Mr. bing was created in collaboration with Kathleenlights btw.
And those were all the products that I’ve purchased from Colourpop, I hope you liked this haul and mini review of the products. Thanks for reading and don’t forget to follow me on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Bloglovin or Youtube!
